        What are the benefits of using the alto stand?

        Alto stand allows you to work in a standing position through out the day. Its simple design allows you to transition quickly between sitting or standing. Its important to balance your work day by combining siting and standing through out the day. 

        Is alto stand easy to assemble?

        Very easy, no screws are required you can assemble in seconds. See our video at the end of the page. 

        Why do you offer different sizes?

        In order to offer the best solution for each user we decided to match your stand to your height. That way you get the most compact option for your specific needs. No need to get a larger stand if you don't need it. It also makes it easier to travel with your stand. 

        If you are unsure what size to order feel free to reach us via Chat and we will be happy to recommend the best size for you. If the size you selected did not work for you we can swap it for another size. 

         

         

        The Alto standing desk is RLDH’s flagship product, with hundreds of satisfied customers. This adjustable standing desk converter has a compact, efficient design that makes it perfect for virtually any workspace—especially small home office spaces. Several different sizing options are offered with the Alto standing desk converter. You can choose the perfect product size by selecting the options that correspond with your height and the size of your laptop. In addition, each product comes with an adjustable shelf, which gives you even more flexibility to create the perfect office set-up. Please note, if you will be adding the Alto standing desk converter to an existing desk or table that is taller or shorter than a standard desk (28-30" high), you will need to adjust the size you purchase accordingly. Please contact us if you have any questions so we can help you purchase the size that will work best for you.   Each Alto standing desk converter ships flat. Only a minimal amount of assembly is required, which can be completed in a matter of seconds, with no tools required. See our video on this page for our easy assembly instructions.   The Alto standing desk converter is designed and made in the USA and ships free within the United States.

        Returns Policy

        Display Stands: 

        We charge a 25% restocking fee for all returns. 

        Returns orders need to be requested no more that 1 day after receiving the item. After approval for a return you must ship the item back to us. Please be aware we do not cover the cost of shipping the item back. 

        All refunds are processed 10 days after approval. 

        Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have issues with your stand .

        Alto stand (Alto and Alto X) have a 30 day tryout period (30 days from purchase date)  we allow this time for you to tryout alto comfortably. If during this time you want to swap Alto stand for another size please make sure use this link to change sizes . If you are not satisfied with the product and are still inside the 30 day return window please ship the product back and we will issue you a full refund. Please be aware that we do not cover the cost of shipping item back to us. Make sure to package the item well to avoid any damage. 

        You should expect to receive your refund within 2-3 weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund sooner. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

        If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

        Returns will be inspected as they arrive, if damage is found on any returns a 10% fee maybe incurred. 

        Shipping

        We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

        When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

        Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

        Why is our material better than our competitors?
        • We use only the highest quality Maple and Baltic birch core. That means your have double the layers making our stand thicker and stronger. 
        • Maple also has a warm color and a rich pattern as compared to Baltic birch which is typically yellow in tone and with less pattern. 
        • All our materials are CARB compliant which means no nasty chemicals are found (mainly formaldehyde)
        • The surface is treated with a durable UV coating that is easy to clean and maintain.

        I work remotely and I haven't traveled with my spouse when he has to go out of town because I didn't have a good set up. Anyone who has stayed in a hotel knows how painful it is to try and work. This was easy and fantastic. I can now travel with my spouse and not be stuck at a low desk in a crappy chair, or not have a desk at all. This is a game changer.

        Changed my work from home life - for the better

        I live in a small studio and have been using an ironing board as a standing desk for the past year. It wasn't the right height or size and was always a gamble. I found myself not completing work because none of my working stations were conducive to doing the work. I've used this desk converter for 3 days and all have felt like magic. It's so easy to set up and take down and fits my set up well. One small complaint is that the side table is a bit close to the shelf. If you're thinking your shelf will be above the second slot, don't get a side table add on or put it on the left side and not the right.

        Amazing product... even better service.

        As a digital nomad and lover of all things ergonomic and keeping my body pain-free, this thing is a godsend. If I don't have a standing desk, I have noticeable pain in my shoulders, neck, back, etc. (you name it).

        As a constant traveler, finding places to work ergonomically for 8+ hours is a nightmare... you can only sit with your neck angled down at your laptop on a wooden chair with a small dining table in an Airbnb for so long.. this product solves all these issues. Quit spending hours looking for an Airbnb with a dedicated workspace and a high-quality chair... just condition your body to stand for long periods of time (your back will thank you).

        This product is a fantastic solution that fits in a checked luggage bag and is lightweight. Simple construction that you can tell will last a long, long time. I love my ALTO STANDING DESK!

        One thing that I had to find out on my own and is worth mentioning. For any other tall folks out there who plan to travel, be mindful of the length of the stands in the XXL size. If you want to fit this in a piece of checked-in luggage (under 62 linear inches), you won't find luggage that will hold your XXL stands (the tall part of the standing desk). There are pieces of luggage that fit this, you just run the risk of paying extra for nonstandard luggage. That being said, If you don't plan to do airline travel, don't mind shipping it separately, or don't mind paying nonstandard luggage fees, then don't worry about this caveat. I just thought it'd be worth mentioning.

        Last but not least, the customer service was fantastic. Rodolfo answered every question I had about this product and his service needs to receive the spotlight. The product alone without a doubt deserves a review, but I wanted to highlight his part in my wonderful experience. Thanks for everything, Rodolfo!
