Desk A - Minimalist Desk
Our version of a simple minimal desk, ready for your home office.
Combining traditional and modern craftsmanship each desk is made in our local shop in California. Made from the highest grade of .5" Baltic birch with a maple veneer, our desk A is remarkably sturdy.
Each desk is finished with a professional-grade urethane coating that will resist scratches and will make it very easy to clean.
Assembly is very simple only requires 2 bolts on each leg. We use bolts to make sure the desk feels sturdy.
The desk can be complemented with a screen riser. It includes 2 pegs that can be used to hang your back, headphones, or anything else.

The modern and minimalist design of RLDH’s Desk A has made it very popular with our customers. With three size options (47”x24”, 47”x18” or 36”x24”) it fits in almost any space in your home or office.
Don’t let the minimalist design fool you—this desk is as sturdy as they come! It is designed by an engineer who wanted to make a sleek, yet structurally sound desk. It is constructed with quality materials that make it even more durable. Desk A is also designed with ease of assembly in mind. You don’t need any special tools or expertise—and only a few minutes of time—to put the desk together.
Add the optional monitor riser or one of our standing desk converters to give you more options for screen or laptop placement on Desk A. All are made from the same Baltic birch with a maple veneer to complement each other well.
We offer several different payment options for our products, including PayPal, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, and Shop Pay. Installment plans are available if you choose PayPal or Shop Pay, which allow you to pay for Desk A in four equal payments.
Free Economy shipping is available for delivery to addresses within the United States. Desk A is designed and manufactured in San Diego using high-quality materials with no harmful chemicals, such as formaldehyde.

Returns Policy
Display Stands:
We charge a 25% restocking fee for all returns.
Returns orders need to be requested no more that 1 day after receiving the item. After approval for a return you must ship the item back to us. Please be aware we do not cover the cost of shipping the item back.
All refunds are processed 10 days after approval.
Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have issues with your stand .
Alto stand (Alto and Alto X) have a 30 day tryout period (30 days from purchase date) we allow this time for you to tryout alto comfortably. If during this time you want to swap Alto stand for another size please make sure use this link to change sizes . If you are not satisfied with the product and are still inside the 30 day return window please ship the product back and we will issue you a full refund. Please be aware that we do not cover the cost of shipping item back to us. Make sure to package the item well to avoid any damage.
You should expect to receive your refund within 2-3 weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund sooner. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Returns will be inspected as they arrive, if damage is found on any returns a 10% fee maybe incurred.
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
- We use only the highest quality Maple and Baltic birch core. That means your have double the layers making our stand thicker and stronger.
- Maple also has a warm color and a rich pattern as compared to Baltic birch which is typically yellow in tone and with less pattern.
- All our materials are CARB compliant which means no nasty chemicals are found (mainly formaldehyde)
- The surface is treated with a durable UV coating that is easy to clean and maintain.

I got the desk with the stand and I’m so glad I went with this one. Very good quality and insanely easy to put together. Beautiful and simple design. I have been looking for a very long time for something like this - don’t hesitate to buy if you work from home and want something beautiful and timeless you can feel good about.
I am using the 18” deep desk and it is great. Just the right size for a small spot. Thanks RLDH for helping with shallower legs
This desk is a beauty and exactly what I was looking for. Solid wood, clean lines, thoughtful design and very sturdy. A wonderful piece that I believe will stand the test of time. I am incredibly picky when it comes to furniture and would much rather spend a few extra dollars to get a quality item from a real artist/craftsman, this is what you're getting here. It's a great piece that is both functional and aesthetically beautiful. It came shipped SO carefully that it took me longer to unpack it than it did to assemble; the assembly was a cinch! I went for the monitor riser too and delighted that I did, gives me that bit more work-space and I love that it hides my cables neatly away. Highly recommend!"
